Four ingredient speedy banoffee shake

I love a good old green juice in the mornings, but sometimes I need a little indulgence in my life (usually on a Friday, but Monday to Thursday work well too). And what could be more indulgent than a banoffee ‘milk’shake!

But a healthy one of course, no ice cream or syrups for us thank you very much! It is amazing how you can create something so delicious, creamy and rich from just four super healthy ingredients, I honestly think if you did a blind taste test people would think this little shake is full of unhealthy rubbish, but how wrong they would be! 

This drink is not only totally scrumptious, but gives you heaps of potassium, calcium, fibre and not to mention energy! It’s also super hydrating too, so your body (and skin) will totally love you for it too.


  • 1 banana, cut into chunks and frozen beforehand
  • 3 pitted dates
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

This is so easy and quick to make – which is perfect if you’re a busy bee in the mornings! Just pop the ingredients in a blender and whizz for 30 seconds to a minute until it’s all creamy and amazing. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
