I know I’m totally on the same (rather crowded) bandwagon as everyone else but I’m really loving turmeric right now. I got a little bit obsessed with turmeric lattes (no caffeine + actually good for you = winning) but I was spending a small fortune on them every week so decided to give making them at home a go.
I actually prefer cold drinks (and food) to hot (must be a dosha thing) so I created this golden shake which I now make pretty much on repeat. It’s just a few ingredients and so easy to make, plus I bet you have most of the ingredients already in your kitchens.
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 medjool date
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
Simple combine the ingredients in a blender and whizz for around 30 seconds until everything is blended nicely. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
